i realized i should say hello and also thank you for creating this interesting blog, it's good food for thought. What would you say was the catalyst that inspired you to start this journey?
Hey! I started this blog because when I came out (initially as lesbian, then as a trans man) I couldn’t find a blog that showcased queer artists of color and their work. As I began to discover my own identity, I wanted to see queer folks that were outside of the images that the media projected of us. In the end, I think that theGAQ has given me deeper insight into who I am as a person. It continues to teach me - I learn something new everyday.
